Education Notre Priorité 

Aidez-nous à améliorer durablement l'accès à l'école secondaire pour les enfants vunérables au Congo RDC. 

Notre nouveau projet consiste à créer une activité génératrice de revenus par la construction d'une unité de production avec un four extérieur pour la cuisson du pain. Un groupe de mères motivées par la recherche de fonds pour permettre à leurs enfants d'aller à l'école vendra le pain cuit sur place. Les fonds récoltés serviront à payer les frais de scolarité et les fournitures de leurs enfants.

 Nos objectifs

En investissant dans ce projet, nous voulons:

Réduire le nombre d'enfants qui abandonnent l'école, principalement par manque de moyens financiers, et améliorer les perspectives d'avenir de la prochaine génération.  Grâce à leur éducation, les enfants recevront les compétences et les connaissances dont ils ont besoin pour accroître leur capacité à gagner un revenu et à se construire un avenir meilleur.

Les mères sont les artisans du changement.  Elles savent qu'une meilleure éducation offre de meilleures possibilités d'emploi à leurs enfants et c'est pourquoi nous voulons leur redonner le pouvoir. Elles se sont mobilisées autour de ce projet et nous voulons investir dans leurs efforts pour aider tous leurs enfants, et en particulier leurs filles, à rester à l'école. Leur participation à la vente du pain fabriqué dans le four et leur participation à l'organisation du projet leur permettent de gagner de l'argent et d'avoir le pouvoir d'agir.

Les dons de l'équipe We Walk ont déjà servi our améliorer les conditions d'accueil des enfants dans l'école primaire de Kingo Mbungu au RDC pour les 371 élèves.

EDUCATION MATTERS

Help us to sustainably improve access to secondary education for vunerable children in Boma in the Democratic Republic of Congo. 

Our project is to create an income generating activity by the construction of a production unit with an outdoor oven to bake bread. A group of mothers who are motivated to raise funds to enable their children to go to school will sell the bread baked on site. Our Goals

By investing in this project we want to:

Reduce the rates of children dropping out from school mainly due to lack of funds and improve the future prospects of the next generation.  Through their education children will be given the skills and knowledge they need to increase their ability to earn an income and build a better future.

The mothers are the change makers.  The mothers  know that a better education brings better employment opportunities for their children and so we want to shift the power back to mothers. They have rallied together around this project and we want to invest in their efforts to help all their children and especially their daughters to stay in  school. Their participation in the sale of the bread made at the charity owned oven and their participation in the organisation allows them to earn and have power to take action.

The donations from our We Walkers have already helped improve the condition of the primary school in Kingo Mbungu in DRC for the 371 children who recieve an education there and provided them with school supplies.
