September 2022
Delivery of school supplies.
These are precious moments for Action Mbazi when we can get pens and an exercise book to each child. Basics are a big deal for these 426 children who attend the primary school in Kingo Mbungu, a remote village in rural Kongo Central.
June 2022 - Renovation of 6 school classrooms
Celebrations at the school in Kingo Mbungu. The inside and outside walls of all 6 classrooms have been renovated and given a coat of paint, there are now cement floors in all rooms for the first time and new doors have been put in. The children and teachers danced and sang to welcome Action Mbazi, the parent's committee and the village chiefs. The children love their new school.

Our school renovation project started in December 2021.
The primary school is in the village of Kingo Mbungu in the rural area 52 km from Nsioni en Kongo Central, DRC. The 6 classrooms were in a poor state of repair and the floor was still just compacted earth.
We are helping the 371 children of the village and together with the community we are renovating the school buildings.
The work started with laying cement floors in all the classrooms. This will help improve the cleanliness in the school as the floor can be easily swept and washed. This will help keep the school supplies clean and will improve the hygiene in the school and the general health of the children.
January 2022
The work to repare and protect the brick walls on the outside started. The masons are working hard. It is so impressive how the community comes together to help get the renovation of their school completed. Everyone who can help carry supplies and water and contribute to making meals for the workers.
February 2022: The work is getting on well. The floors are down. Work on the repair work on the inside and outside walls is nearly finished. Everyone is excited and there is no shortage of volunteers to help with the carrying and cooking for the workers.
