Clean up the lockdown rubbish

Our young eco warrior volunteers picked up rubbish that they found on their walks in the countryside. They are spotlighting Action Mbazi projects and are bringing in sponsorship money for our not for profit charity. At the same time their great initiative helps raise awareness about not dropping litter and helps protect nature and local wildlife.  Well done girls for your great idea and a huge thank you! Each euro counts and will be used directly for our primary school reconstruction project so that children in DRC can learn in a safe building!

Feeling inspired? You can help us too! Ask your family and friends to sponsor you, pick up your litter picker and start raising money for Action Mbazi. Dont forget to share your efforts on our Facebook page!

Mask  litter pick up

April 2021

A  flywaway mask litter cleanup started in Douai and the surrounding area (France) by our volunteers. The idea was promoting the work of our charity Action Mbazi and to do something good for the environment at the same time.

Thank  you to all of those who sponsored us!  You helped us make a difference.

November 2021

Total numbers of masks picked up since April = 1434!

May 2022

Total of number of masks picked up by our team PUMALKING (picking up masks and litter and walking) since April 2021  was  2022! Not only has this challenge helped clean up our streets in our towns and helped the environment, it has raised awareness and funds for our work helping vunerable children have an  access to education. Since it is no longer an obligation to wear a mask in public places and on public transport there are many less masks discarded on the street. Thanks to everyone who participated!
